Friend, as Chair of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, it's my job to oversee the USPS – and it's a responsibility I take very seriously. I've kept a close eye on their performance these past few years – even launching an investigation after Americans experienced severe mail delays.
I know that when the pandemic started, USPS services were inconsistent and slow for many of us. That's why, last year, I led the charge to pass a huge set of USPS reforms. This legislation preserved six-day mail delivery made a serious investment in the future of our Postal Service – ensuring that Americans can count on reliable mail for generations to come.
But I know that there is still more work to do.
I'm going to keep fighting tooth and nail to protect timely mail delivery – and a critical part of my work is hearing directly from Postal Service consumers like you, friend. So I've put together a special report card to give you an opportunity to make your voice heard today. Please, will you respond now to grade the USPS's performance?

Thank you for taking a moment to share your thoughts. I'm looking forward to seeing your response, friend.
