As Congress prepares for another week in Washington, I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional district, and our country as a whole:

Shrink Washington, Grow America
On Tuesday, I joined Fox News Channel’s Harris Faulkner to discuss the Biden Administration’s reckless spending plan to bankrupt America and expand the tyrannical federal bureaucracy, in contrast to the House Freedom Caucus’ plan to shrink Washington and grow America. It is time to restore fiscal responsibility and rein in the out-of-control spending habits of the federal government.

The U.K. must STOP harassment of Christians
I sent a letter to US Ambassador for International Religious Freedom, Rashad Hussain, alerting him to the United Kingdom’s infringement on religious liberty and freedom of speech, while also pressing the ambassador to speak out against it.

It's past time taxpayers stop funding WHO
The long-supressed truth about COVID is finally trickling out. The Department of Energy recently admitted that the COVID-19 virus “likely arose from a laboratory leak” and FBI Director Chris Wray is now saying the same in public. 

As I wrote in Fox News, justice demands accountability for all those who helped obscure information on the origins of COVID-19 – especially the World Health Organization (WHO). However, instead of distancing our country from this failed organization, the Biden Administration is set to provide the WHO even more public health authority.

In the letter, seven other members of Congress and I voiced concern over the mounting persecution of Christians in the U.K. and warned against the unsettling path they seem to be walking down. A summary of the letter can be found here.

Passport resources
Due to an increase in spring travel, please expect longer processing times for passport applications and renewals. Constituents have been reporting long hold times on the phones and extended wait times after driving all the way out to appointments in Dallas. 

***If you need help with a passport, please call my San Antonio district office  at (210) 821-5024 between 8am – 5pm M-F. Please do not send an email as this is an urgent issue and could delay a response.***

Please remember to check your passport expiration date and keep in mind some countries require your passport to be valid for six months after your visit. You can find information on how to apply or renew your passport here.
