John,
In November, voters in Central Virginia will face a choice: reelect Abigail and her approach to solving problems through listening and finding common ground OR choose a representative who puts partisanship over the needs of Virginians.
There are now nine Republicans vying for this seat. Each one elbowing the next to prove how extreme they can be.
This past Monday, one of the nine, Nick Freitas, spoke at a rally in Richmond in opposition to gun violence prevention bills, including universal background checks, favored by the overwhelming number of Virginians.
→ In his speech, he spread conspiracy theories AND
→ In his speech, he stoked fear and peddled lies about a plan for government takeover
Also joining the rally was a speaker who advocated that Americans can protect their rights through violence.
The choice in this election couldn’t be more stark, John. Abigail not only listens to her constituents and works with colleagues across the political spectrum to find solutions, but she also appreciates that complicated issues can’t be reduced to hyper-partisan tirades.
Abigail is a champion for the Constitution. Her service to our country and expertise in national security is the foundation of how she makes all of her decisions. She believes strongly that we can protect people’s Second Amendment rights while making decisions informed by data to pursue policy that can help make our communities safer from gun violence. Both are possible, and both are priorities for her.
Our January deadline is imminently approaching. Can you stand with Abigail and help fund her reelection campaign?
