Dear John,
It’s the time of year again when members of Congress submit funding requests for the next budget year. Investments in federal autism activities have led to significant progress for people with autism and their families. We need your help to make sure this funding continues to be prioritized.
Take 60 seconds to email your US Representative today!
Increased investments in autism research and services will aid earlier diagnosis, further personalized interventions, improve our understanding of co-occurring conditions, expand prevalence monitoring, address shortages in health care professionals for adults with autism, support better pathways for transition-age young adults and improve outcomes across the lifespan.
Congressional Autism Caucus Co-Chair Rep. Chris Smith is circulating a letter asking his colleagues in the US House of Representatives to join in asking for increased federal funding for autism research and services. This funding proposal would provide needed resources for federal research and programs to improve outcomes for autistic people.
The deadline for House members to sign-on to this appropriations request letter is this Thursday, March 23, so we need you to act fast! Click the following link to contact your legislator and ask them to sign-on in support of increased investment in autism research and services.
Thank you,
David Sitcovsky
