Friend,
My friend and colleague, Sherrod Brown, is up for re-election in 2024, and as one of just three Senate Democrats in states that were won by President Trump, he’s one of the GOP’s top targets.
In fact, Sherrod already has a wealthy Republican opponent and the National Republican Senatorial Committee is already running attack ads against him.
NBC reports that Sherrod's race could be even nastier and more expensive than last year's Senate race in Ohio, which was one of the most expensive in the country, with over $200 million spent.
It's going to be his toughest race yet, but if we work together, we can help Sherrod win in Ohio. Will you split a contribution between Sherrod's campaign and mine to be sure that Sherrod can build strong campaign infrastructure in these next few weeks?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be immediately split between Greg Landsman and Sherrod Brown:
Sherrod wears a canary pin on his lapel – a reminder that workers used to take a canary with them into the coal mines. If the canary stopped singing, they knew they needed to get out fast. In Sherrod’s words, “They didn’t have a union strong enough or a government who cared enough to protect them.” The pin is a symbol of the progress made on workers’ rights and the work still left to do.
That includes raising wages, making sure everyone has good job opportunities in their hometowns, rewarding companies that invest in American jobs instead of shipping them overseas, and ensuring no one needs a second or third job just to get by.
Sherrod needs us in this fight with him. It won’t be easy, but if we organize, work hard, and start early, we know we can do this. I’m all in and I need you with me. Please split a contribution between our campaigns today.
Thank you,
Greg Landsman |
