In a live press conference this morning I was delighted to share the exciting news that several former Brexit Party MEPs have joined Reform UK.
Joining me on stage were Ben Habib, Ann Widdecombe, Jonathan Bullock, June Mummery and Belinda de Lucy.They have thrown their full weight behind Reform UK, giving us even more energy and momentum as we go into the local elections in May.

Reform UK is really going from strength to strength. I would like to say a huge thank you to our amazing activists, volunteers and supporters who have worked tirelessly for 2 years. We are now polling near 10% in the national polls. We are committed to 600 candidates in next year's General Election. And we are standing 500 candidates in the upcoming local elections.
Honorary President Nigel Farage told the audience that we face the biggest challenge he has ever seen. He’s right, and all our new members agreed.

The Conservatives have betrayed Brexit and allowed Northern Ireland to be ruled from Brussels. They have taken a wrecking ball to our country. Taxes have soared. Red tape and regulations have strangled business. Immigration is out of control. Britain is Broken.
But I am an optimist. With proper leadership, values and vision we can secure the fundamental reforms our great country needs.
We will cut taxes and regulation to make sure the economy works for the British people. We will shake up the energy market by using our vast reserves of shale gas. We will reform healthcare to ensure zero waiting lists. Once and for all we will stop illegal immigration and secure our borders. And deliver Brexit.

Reform UK Means Business. I am delighted to welcome our new members. We are getting stronger by the day. The upcoming local elections are our first chance to hold the Tories to account. I look forward to meeting all of you on the campaign trail. Together we will let people know they have a real choice. And together we will make Britain great.
