It’s heartbreaking that in 2020, despite all the progress we have made as a society, that there are still people who abuse animals. But it’s true — animals die every day as a result of cruelty. That’s why it’s imperative that you and I continue to fight to protect them. Because if we don’t, who will? Please don’t make animals in need wait another day: Animals are suffering now and your renewed support can save their lives.
We need you with us because as long as the legal system fails to protect animals or bring their abusers to justice, animals are especially vulnerable to abuse, neglect, and exploitation — with death being the result for many.
The Animal Legal Defense Fund is the only national animal protection organization whose sole mission is to protect the lives and advance the interests of animals through the legal system, but we can’t do it without you!
Your lifesaving renewal gift will be put to work immediately to assist prosecutors in charging and convicting animal abusers; file lawsuits on behalf of wild and endangered animals to rescue them from inhumane captivity; challenge unconstitutional Ag-Gag laws designed to hide animal abuses on factory farms; and demand accountability when government agencies fail to uphold animal protection laws.
