Williams Weekly
Dear Texans,
This week I was proud to have the opportunity to work with my colleagues to introduce bipartisan legislation authorizing the Boots to Business (B2B) program to assist transitioning service members in starting and growing their own businesses. After dedicating their lives to protecting Americans' freedom, we must give our veterans the tools and resources to be successful when transitioning to civilian life. Veterans are natural leaders with the dedication necessary to thrive in the private sector with the proper training. View the joint press release here.
TX-25 District Highlights
I had the opportunity to visit with constituents from around the district this week. See the highlights from my week below:
Toured the Rhino Health Inc. facility in Fort Worth, Texas where they produce American Made nitrile gloves used in the healthcare, industrial, and government sectors. Following the tour I met with their leadership to hear how they are helping to bring manufacturing back to the U.S.
Visited Arlington’s entertainment district where I heard about the exciting growth they have had over the years and how they are continuing this growth. While there, I toured the National Medal of Honor Museum preview center, Texas Live!, Live by Loews, and the developments at Choctaw Stadium - the new home of Arlington’s XFL team The Renegades.
Hosted Coffee with the Congressman in Comanche County where I spoke constituents on issues that are important to them, such as border security and runaway inflation.
Provided a Washington, DC update at the Mineral Wells Chamber of Commerce’s Friday Forum. I discussed how I am fighting for Main Street America as the Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business.
Met with community leaders from Stephens County and Breckinridge, Texas where we talked about the impact over-regulation has had on small businesses and communities.
New Arlington District Office
Recently, I had the opportunity to open a new district office located in Arlington, Texas. The office is located within the Choctaw Stadium’s new coworking office spaces and is ready to serve the people of Texas’ 25th District.
In God we trust,
Roger Williams
