In the early morning of January 7, 2021, 147 members of Congress (each one a Republican, by the way) opposed certification of the 2020 presidential election results.
All 147 had seen their own safety — not to mention our very democracy — at risk just hours earlier when a violent mob stormed the United States Capitol in an insurrection intended to keep Donald Trump in power illegally.
Infuriatingly, companies like AT&T, Home Depot, and Walgreens have continued bankrolling the senators and representatives who make up this Sedition Caucus.
In fact, members of the Sedition Caucus have so far received over $40 million from Corporate America in just the two years since the January 6 insurrection, even as the threat to our democracy — from politicians and candidates animated by Trump’s Big Lie that the 2020 election was “stolen” from him — persists.
We have a message for the CEOs of AT&T, Home Depot, and Walgreens:
Donald Trump’s Big Lie that the 2020 election was “stolen” from him is a severe threat to our democracy. Yet each of your companies continues to fund members of Congress who supported the January 6 insurrection. We demand that you immediately cease all contributions to the Sedition Caucus.

Thanks for taking action.
