My latest book, Justice Corrupted, details how the left has weaponized our U.S. legal system to in their pursuit of political power and control over our lives.  

In its introduction, I sum up the way things are supposed to be:

“Justice is blind. She wields a sword and holds a set of scales. The sword represents the terrible punishment government can inflict, up to and including taking a human being’s life. The scale stands for fairness, a careful measuring of the facts and the evidence in any given case. 
 
“But neither one of these potent symbols matters as much as the blindfold over Lady Justice’s eyes. Her eyes work fine, of course, but she chooses not to see. Race, gender, wealth, privilege – Justice should see none of them.” 

Justice without the blindfold is a vengeful angel wielding power as a weapon to intimidate and oppress – and the Biden administration has shown us that nothing is off limits.

Chapter One in Justice Corrupted is “Enemies” – I take a deep look at the Nixon era and how and why back then, in the end, justice did prevail: 

“Today, most Americans know what happened during Nixon’s presidency. They know about the spy campaigns, the burglaries, the shredding of documents, and the dozens of illegal moves he made to cover it all up. But few people comprehend the scale of what didn’t happen. It is amazing, for instance, that even J. Edgar Hoover, now considered one of the most fearsome and amoral officials in American history, actually refused to carry out many of the more sinister tasks assigned to him by the Nixon White House. Likewise, the IRS, asked repeatedly to audit and harass various political enemies of the Nixon White House, actively rebuffed him. 
 
“In other words, in substantial parts, the system worked during the Nixon administration. Things worked the way they are supposed to work. The IRS refused to act as the president’s enforcer as he requested, believing correctly that the agency – along with the DOJ, the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, and others – was supposed to be apolitical, doing its job without fear or favor, acting the same way no matter what party controlled the White House.”

It’s a standard that would hold, for the most part, until the Obama era. 
 
In subsequent chapters of Justice Corrupted I explore the weaponization of the IRS, Critical Race Theory, the Democrats' soft-on-crime insanity, the 2020 presidential election, the events of January 6th, and more.
