Supporter, as we approach Earth Day, we don't want to only focus on the doom and gloom. Because despite the challenges we face, we've already seen some astounding victories protecting wild places, fighting climate change, and building--victories that YOU helped make happen. Here are just a few:

- Roadless Rule protections were restored for the Tongass National Forest, protecting key areas of the largest rainforest in the United States.

- The Biden Administration protected the Bristol Bay Watershed from Pebble Mine, which would have been a social, environmental, and economic disaster for Alaskan fisheries, wildlife, jobs, and communities.

- Congress passed the Safeguarding Treatment for the Restoration of Ecosystems from Abandoned Mines (STREAM) Act, ensuring coal-mining communities can address water pollution from acid mine drainage, reclaim and restore abandoned mining sites, and invest in the outdoor recreation economy, while creating new jobs in that move away from fossil-fuel based economies.

- The Environmental Protection Agency strengthened water pollution safeguards, helping to protect communities from toxic wastewater discharged by coal-fired power plants. This Earth Day, we'll be counting on you to continue powering change and supporting our work to build a more just, equitable, and sustainable future for all. Don't miss your chance to wear your support for our vital work together on your sleeve—or car, window, laptop, wherever you stick things—with your free Earth Day sticker!
