Dear John, Our journey hasn’t been easy and it never will be. Yet, consider the progress achieved over the past 50 years. Consider that today, brilliant women are in positions of power everywhere, civic and business leaders – women of color in the Vice President’s office and on the Supreme Court – culture makers, scientists, explorers, thinkers, and teachers. Our rising generations have so many visible examples of women and gender non-conforming people living and succeeding with strength and conviction. But we’re not done yet. Gender and racial justice has always been at the center of the Ms. Foundation story. And though we’ve achieved incredible progress, we know that now is not the time to back down. The closer we get to achieving the equity the world needs, the harder the powerful tighten their vice grip on the status quo. This is why, with hope, passion, and joy for the progress we know we can achieve together, we ask you to be a part of the celebration of 50 years of groundbreaking progress through the Ms. Foundation. |
