PERKINS: Biden Gun Order Fails Background Check |
by Tony Perkins |
Like most grandmothers, Carolyn Pettiford thought she was done raising children. A horrible February night in 2022 changed that. Her daughter, Ashley, had been parked on the street when a man walked up, leaned into the car, and fired a gun twice. When police arrived, they found Ashley and her boyfriend dead, and Carolyn's terrified five-year-old grandson alive, but shot badly in the face in the backseat. "He's a pretty strong kid," Carolyn says. But "to have to tell a five-year-old that he won't be able to talk to his mother... it's hard." There are 20,138 families like Carolyn's who lost someone to gun violence last year. And while everyone's stories are different, there is one thing each tragedy has in common. |

Local school board members, however, are insisting that the state action was needed to help underserved students. |

Verbal Attacks on Judge at Stanford Show Dangerous Erosion of Campus Freedoms: Experts |
by K.D. Hastings |
The disturbing actions of students and faculty deriding and disrupting a federal judge at a California law school earlier this month smacks of Marxist practices, Mike Davis warned on Friday's "Washington Watch." "It's not free speech to show up and shout someone down. That is not free speech; that's what Marxists do. And we cannot tolerate this in America. They've crossed a red line here." |
