NIJ Director Nancy La Vigne joins the show to interview Marie Garcia, director of NIJ?s Office of Criminal Justice Systems and a former graduate research fellow. They discuss lessons learned and pitfalls to avoid during the application process, Marie?s valuable experience as a fellow while at Temple University, and advice for future applicants.

The FY23 Graduate Research Fellowship solicitation is currently accepting applications. The first application submission deadline is April 25, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
