We’ve just published our top-notch breakout sessions and their engaging speakers who form a core part of the program during our inaugural Summit for Religious Freedom (SRF) on April 22-24. You can check out our full list of sessions, panels and speakers to choose from ([link removed]) – including live broadcasts of the “Boom! Lawyered” and “Straight White American Jesus” podcasts – as well as social activities and opportunities to meet experts, authors and other advocates in the movement. Here’s just a small selection of the programming SRF will offer:

— “Religion and Reproductive Rights after Dobbs” will discuss the power of faith-based abortion advocacy and how religious freedom might be used to safeguard and expand access to this essential health care (speakers include National Council of Jewish Women, Catholics for Choice, and Columbia Law School’s Law, Rights, and Religion Project).

— “Christian Nationalism and Its Impact on U.S. Democracy” will explore Christian Nationalism and how it is threatening democracy in the United States today (speakers include AU’s Rob Boston and experts from the Anti-Defamation League and Baptist Joint Community for Religious Liberty).

— “How We Die in America” will explore how death with dignity is yet another area where religious doctrine is the justification for not passing laws that allow each of us to live (and die) according to our own beliefs (speaker includes the founder of Dying Out Loud who was also diagnosed with ALS in 2019).

— "Youth Activism for Church-State Separation.” Hear directly from youth activists about their perspectives on church-state separation and how they are advocating for freedom and equality in their communities and online.
