URGENT CALL FOR DONATIONS:

So far, hundreds of PIHers from around the world have donated to help the clinicians save lives at University Hospital and across Haiti. Join them with your contribution.

DONATE NOW: [link removed]

Friends:

In many regions in Haiti, including the Artibonite, and other areas where we work, gangs have turned cities and towns into active conflict zones. Kidnapping is now a daily, almost indiscriminate threat. Even people who cannot pay any kind of ransom are targeted.

But the expert clinicians at University Hospital, and at every hospital and clinic PIH supports across Haiti, are still delivering lifesaving care at great personal risk.

Give now to help: [link removed]

As we write, our team is doing everything in their power to ensure health care remains available to as many people as possible in Haiti, including:

* Transferring patients to more secure hospitals and clinics in our network.

* Often staying overnight themselves to avoid dangerous travel.

* Additional measures we cannot disclose publicly at this time to protect operations, patients, and staff.

Your care delivery team in Haiti is the best of the best. But we need your help. Please, make a meaningful contribution to this global call for funding. Donate whatever you can now: [link removed]

Thank you for joining this global effort. Every contribution matters.

In solidarity,
