Earlier this month, a dark money Super PAC launched TV attack ads saying I want to cut Medicare.

It's an outright lie, and they know it.

I always have, and always will, fight any efforts to cut Social Security & Medicare. That's why the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare not only endorsed my campaign, but also gave me "seniors' champion" boxing gloves.

I know how critical Social Security and Medicare have been in allowing hard-working Northeastern Pennsylvanians to live and retire with dignity. That's why strengthening these programs has always been a top priority of mine.

Congressional Republicans and their super PAC allies, on the other hand, have spent years trying to cut these programs. Now, they're attempting to flip the narrative and spread falsehoods to win votes. We can't let them get away with it.

National Republicans aren't pulling any punches – they've already named me a top target and made it clear they're willing to spend and say anything, no matter how untrue, to lie about my record and knock me out. If we're going to fight back against the false attacks, I need you in my corner, John.
