New report: Delivering a reliable decarbonised power system

We recently published a new report looking at what a reliable, resilient, decarbonised electricity supply system could look like in 2035, and the steps required to achieve it. The report contains fresh insights on the importance of developing a climate-resilient power system.

Reminder: Sign up to the launch event of the Adaptation Progress Report for England 2023

We'll be publishing our 2023 report to Parliament on progress in adapting to climate change in England on Wednesday 29th March. Join our online launch event to hear the key findings and implications for the Government. There will also be an opportunity to take part in a Q&A with our panel, hosted by India Bourke, Environment Correspondent at the New Statesman.

New advice on Northern Ireland

We have advised the Northern Ireland Executive on its 2030 and 2040 interim targets and first three Carbon Budgets, consistent with delivery of its legislated 2050 Net Zero target.
