RUSH EMERGENCY RELIEF ([link removed])
“We, as women, simply do not feel safe anymore. Many of us do not even feel safe in our own homes, with our own families, while others fear being kidnapped, raped, or killed,” said Mariam, a woman from Aleppo, Syria.

It’s been 12 excruciatingly long years since the war in Syria began – and the toll this war has taken on women and girls like Mariam is unimaginable. More than half of all health facilities have shuttered their doors, and, as the country with the world’s highest number of displaced people, this means access to care has been severely limited.

Through it all, we’ve been on the ground delivering lifesaving sexual and reproductive health care to Syrian women and girls, including during the recent earthquakes. Will you donate today and ([link removed]) empower women to plan their pregnancies, give birth safely, and live free from violence in Syria and around the world? ([link removed])

Because of the war, devastating earthquakes, economic crisis, and other compounding factors, Syrian girls are being married off younger and younger, pregnant women and new moms face incredible barriers in accessing essential care, hunger is pervasive, and violence toward women and girls has become normalized.

Last year, we reached nearly 3 million Syrians with care, including by:
* Operating 103 safe spaces, so women and girls can access support and build community after experiencing violence.
* Bringing health care directly to women and girls with our 118 mobile health clinics in Syria. This ensures women and girls don’t have to risk violence or harassment by traveling to a clinic.
* Providing over 1 million family planning consultations, so women and girls have the information and resources to become pregnant only when they’re ready.

None of these services would be possible without dedicated supporters like you, friend. But with no end in sight to the war and the devastation of the recent earthquakes, we need you to step up and deliver lifesaving care to women and girls in Syria and around the world. Will you please make a gift and deliver care wherever it’s needed most? ([link removed])

Thank you,
friend.
