Okay, folks, I’ll admit it — I’m hoping for a little more than a penny.

My first FEC fundraising deadline of the year is in less than two weeks. For a few reasons, we absolutely have to hit our end-of-quarter goal.

1. These fundraising reports are irrefutable proof of the strength of our campaign. It shows everyone watching that we have an enthusiastic team of real grassroots donors behind us — not one or two shady super PACs.
2. This result will shape the early media narrative of the 2024 election cycle. Let’s make sure it’s a story of Democratic energy, not apathy.
3. This goal isn’t all about showing off. It’s how we fund our campaign, expand our outreach efforts, and build up a stronger Democratic base here in IL-06.

So, for all those reasons and more, could I ask you to spare a few (or 500) pennies?
