John, so much of our well-being, from community safety to the cost of living, depends on the quality and commitment of our leadership. 

That’s why today, on Women in Public Office Day, I’m reflecting on how critical representation is. We must elevate leaders that we can count on to represent us at every level of government. That's why our work at Emerge is so important.

Right now, communities everywhere are trusting Emerge women to step up and deliver the policies that will make a difference where it matters most. Whether it’s State Del. Danica Roem safeguarding the rights of LGBTQ+ Virginians or State Rep. Andrea Valderrama fighting to enshrine reproductive rights for Oregonians into law, Emerge women are working to protect and uplift all our communities across the country. But they can’t do it alone. 

Emerge is the only organization that is 100% dedicated to recruiting, training, and empowering Democratic women of the New American Majority to run for office and win. But we rely on supporters like you to keep our programs funded, so we can grow our ranks in every state – at every level of our government.
