John,
When I launched this campaign to replace Josh Hawley and flip Missouri’s U.S. Senate seat, I knew I had to do it the right way — without a cent from corporate PACs or shady mega-donors.
In a moment, I’m going to ask you to chip in $10 or whatever you can before our major FEC deadline later this month. But will you please give me just a moment to explain why that commitment is so important to me?
For decades, massive corporations have turned the struggles of real everyday people into their own personal profit. Whether it’s wasting trillions of dollars on pointless forever wars or price-gouging medication millions of Americans need for survival — they’ve waged economic warfare on our country.
And thanks to an army of lobbyists and millions in corporate PAC donations, the politicians who are supposed to protect us let them get away with it.
These politicians will take money and buy stock from Big Pharma, fossil fuels, defense contractors, and so many other industries that have spent years tearing up our country. And once they’re elected, that’s who they’ll work for in Congress.
We’ve watched it happen over and over. Instead of fighting for the people, corrupt DC politicians like Josh Hawley have auctioned their votes off to the highest bidder while the rest of us get left behind. I’m running to break that cycle.
The only way we’ll be able to fight back and fundamentally change who has power in our country is by building an unprecedented grassroots movement here in Missouri — and with $0 from corporate PACs + $0 from federal lobbyists, we’re already on our way to making it happen.
Thanks to support from real people just like you, we’re throwing out the rulebook and running this campaign the right way — staying focused on calling out Hawley for being a fraud and a coward instead of pleasing a bunch of corporate elites. And our message is resonating, but we can’t slow down now.
The NRSC has already proved our race is a top target in 2024, and they’ll spend whatever it takes to keep Josh Hawley in the U.S. Senate. That’s why I’m asking:
