The most important election of 2023 ends in two weeks (16 days to be exact).

Thanks to the support of Indivisibles, we’ve been able to send nearly 25,000 GOTV postcards, air radio ads, text hundreds of thousands of voters in the primary and general, and support other direct voter contact efforts to help flip the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

We’ve done all this work because we understand the stakes. The next Wisconsin Supreme Court will decide the fate of abortion access in the state. It will likely hear cases that could lead to the first fair district maps in decades. And in the very real possibility of a contested 2024 election, those judges could decide the next President of the United States.

The thing is, right-wing megadonors understand the stakes too. And as things have started to look really good for Judge Janet Protasiewicz, they’ve begun riding to the rescue of MAGA candidate Dan Kelly with massive ad spends.

So, what are we going to do? Well, we can’t outraise or outspend the billionaires backing Kelly. But we can absolutely out-organize them.

Originally, we’d greenlit 170,000 texts to Wisconsin voters. At this point, we don’t think that’s going to cut it. So we’ve decided we’re going to more than double it.

This is a huge undertaking, and it’s not in our budget. That’s why we’re reaching out today to ask if you can chip in to help us fund it.

We want to add an additional 240,000 voters to our text pool. If we can raise the funds to do it, this expansion of our texting program will allow us to reach every highly likely Dem voter with a number on file in Wisconsin. Every. Single. One.

This seems like a good time to remind you, dear reader, that the last Wisconsin Supreme Court election held in a non-presidential year was decided by 5,981 votes. So every additional text we can send matters. And 240,000 more texts could matter A LOT.
