Walgreens has announced that it would not dispense the abortion pill, mifepristone, in some Republican-led states where abortion remains legal. In response, California announced that it would not renew a $54 million contract with Walgreens. 14 Democrat governors are pressuring seven large pharmacy retailers on the abortion pill.
