In a recent interview with CNBC, Donald Trump admitted what Republicans have been dancing around for years: they’re planning to cut Social Security and Medicare after the 2020 election.

This is cowardly and cruel, and cheats people out of the benefits they have earned. Maine seniors would be hit hard by any cuts—and if the past three years are any indication, Susan Collins won’t lift a finger to fight back.
