John, as the first (and only) member of Gen Z in Congress, I get asked all the time how it feels for Gen Z to finally be represented in office.

The truth is simple: It’s not like Gen Z has been waiting to get into Congress. We just had to get old enough. Once the door was open, we were ready to walk right through it and get to work legislating real change.

Now that I have a seat at the table, I’m committed to stopping the GOP’s extremist, fascist attacks against OUR future and OUR lives. From attacks against LGBTQ+ youth, our freedom to an accurate education, and our right to go to school without fear of being shot – Gen Z is the GOP’s main target.

We need urgent action to stop their reckless attacks before it’s too late, but I need you by my side all the way.

Over the course of every Gen Zer's life, we’ve witnessed the devastating toll of the climate crisis, mass shootings every week, and racially motivated police brutality.

Through all of that, Gen Z had to wait for the time to come when we could fight back not just in our communities, but take that fight to Congress, too. But now? We’re HERE.

I know I am not representative of my whole generation, but I do know this: We are all ready to be part of the conversations that impact us, and ensure our voices are heard EVERYWHERE.

If not, the GOP will do everything in their power to infringe on the rights of EVERYONE. And we cannot afford to let that happen. So I have to ask you to help right now.
