John,
Yesterday was an incredible day for Minnesota’s kids.
As a kid who relied on free and reduced-price lunch, I know first-hand that far too many children face food insecurity at school and experience shame in the lunchroom.
In Minnesota, we’re saying never again.
Yesterday, we signed universal school meals into law, removing stigma in the lunchroom, saving families money, investing in the health and well-being of our children, and ensuring that no child goes hungry in Minnesota schools.
This victory wouldn’t have been possible without you. Making sure every kid is fed at school is the right thing to do, and together, we got it done. I’m so grateful for all you do for this campaign, our state, and our children.
It’s a good day in Minnesota.
Miigwech. Thank you.

Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan have overcome unprecedented challenges to provide historic investments in education, create new, good-paying jobs, and increase access to health care. And with your help, they can defeat their extremist Republican opponents and continue to move our state forward, as one Minnesota. Can you pitch in $5 now to help them stop extremism and keep Minnesota in DFL hands?
