Todd Rokita is attacking transgender rights, and we’re fighting to stop him.
Indiana’s GOP AG Todd Rokita is pushing misinformation about trans youth and doctors offering gender-affirming care. This is dangerous and cruel — everyone deserves access to health care and equal treatment. Chip in now to elect Dem AGs who will fight for protections for both the LGBTQIA+ community and medical professionals.
Indiana AG Todd Rokita has a history of demonizing communities he knows nothing about and pushing harmful legislation to score political points. This time is no different. He recently published a series of hostile letters to several medical facilities and providers who offer gender-affirming care to youth. Rokita is pushing a disgusting, false narrative that these highly trained medical professionals are coercing parents of transgender children into care to earn a quick buck. This obviously couldn’t be further from the truth.
Children should be able to identify and express themselves as they truly feel and deserve to be seen, and vital health care should not be banned in service of the GOP’s culture war. Our lawmakers are elected to office to protect and fight for all human rights.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and we can't stop now – will you chip in today?
