In one week, primary voting starts when mail-in primary ballots are sent to every eligible voter in the 7th Congressional District. I am expecting a record primary turnout of more than 200,000 voters. Unfortunately, most of these voters aren't as well-informed as you are. This is largely due to a near-complete news blackout of this race by all daily news outlets (TV, radio and Sac Bee).  As a former reporter, I find it a shame when media outlets do not use their First Amendment protections to shine a minimal spotlight on a contested Congressional race. But this just leaves it to good citizens like us to fend off complete control of our politics by the big outside donors, corporations and PACs. 

You can do this by continuing to spread the message about our cmapaign. Please do this by email, using Social Media, requesting lawn signs (if you haven't already), and sending letters to the Sac Bee editor. It's all very helpful. And if you need anything from me just let me know. Once ballots are mailed out next Monday, there will be just 4 weeks left to help us finish Top 2!
