This early in campaigns, how much support we give to different candidates will directly determine how many Republicans and right-wing mega-donors will start their race against incumbent Democrats. But there is one clear way we can set those Democratic candidates up for success — investing early in campaigns.
Because when you make investments early in a campaign, it shows just how strong you are from the get-go. And that scares competitors. But most of all, when you invest early in a campaign, that donation is spent much more effectively than donations closer to Election Day. Each early donation helps campaigns engage more and more supporters throughout the entire cycle rather than just the final sprint.
