CND groups to protest at US Embassy over return of US nukes to Britain
?
CND groups from London and the surrounding area will rally outside the US Embassy in London on Tuesday 21 March, against the return of US nuclear bombs to Lakenheath airbase in Suffolk.?
?
In January this year, the Federation of American Scientists revealed that the new B61-12 nuclear bomb has been cleared for transport to bases in Europe, including Britain. Silos to house these bombs are already in situ. The latest fighter bomber aircraft, the F-35As that will deliver them to their targets across the world are already in Lakenheath where training began last year. Join us to protest any stationing of these weapons of mass destruction just 70 miles from London.
