Apple REMOVED Donald Trump’s Song From iTunes

Last weekend Donald Trump’s debut single, “Justice For All,” reached number one on the iTunes chart. On Thursday it was removed. The single had spent a week in the number one spot on the U.S. chart, where it was being used as a charity piece and awareness raiser. The song, by the J6 Prison Choir featuring Donald Trump, was sold for $1.29 with all of the net profits going towards “certain J6 families in need.” The song had sold over 22,000 digital downloads just between March 3 and March 13.

I met with some Republican donors last week who wanted my take on the lay of the land headed into 2024. They had concerns about 2024. Most were enamored with the idea of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as president. A handful had been major Trump donors and I expected some of those would still be with him. They are not.

A hallmark of postmodernity is everyone has their own truth now. “My truth” is espoused by people who say “I feel” instead of “I think.” They do not care what is true, but want their truth reflected by others. Those who come closest build trust. Postmodernity precludes grace because postmodernity is built on emotions.
