In November 2018, America elected the most diverse Congress in history. After Trump withheld nearly $400 million from Ukraine in an attempt to force the country to meddle in the United State’s 2020 election, the House moved to impeach him for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

Now, it’s onto the Senate, where 74 members are men, 91 members are white, and the average age is 62.9 years old.

And we wonder why the senators who swore an oath to be impartial jurors may well look the other way.
