John,
Becca’s been busy! Here’s what she’s been up to recently:
- Becca wrote an op-ed about the Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans Act. We must have the courage to examine our nation's history and how it impacts our present in an honest and accurate way, and she’s committed to making progress on injustice.
- Becca did an interview with C-SPAN, in which she talked about her family, career, and hobbies. Fun fact: Becca is a rock climber, hiker, AND motorcyclist!
- Becca visited Central Vermont to learn about the biggest challenges local food producers are dealing with and held her first town hall in Barre City to discuss the housing crisis. In the upcoming Farm Bill, Becca is committed to focusing on making programs for family farms accessible and addressing food insecurity in Vermont. Becca is also committed to finding solutions to ensure that more Vermonters have secure, consistent housing.
From sharing her story to connecting with constituents, Becca is staying busy to make sure she’s representing Vermont and amplifying Vermonters’ priorities in Congress. We’re proud of her, and we hope you are, too!
To keep Becca fighting for us, will you make a contribution in support of her campaign today?
