Hi Friend, Did you catch the Oscars earlier this week? I sure did! Every year, I love tuning in to see the glitz, glamour, and celebration of the best in film. I’d love if we could do the same for our politics – as Hollywood recognizes the best actors, actresses, and directors, imagine if we could come together as a nation to recognize and support the best of our public servants. Unfortunately, a lot of politicians these days are chasing after less than glamorous titles - best partisan, best party loyalist, and best obstructor, to name a few. Meanwhile, few are trying to win the most important award – best leadership. Our economy could be on the brink of a recession, we're rapidly approaching the debt ceiling later this summer, and now a potential banking crisis is making our world even more unsettled. And hardly anyone seems ready to move past partisanship and lead the nation through these rough waters. We need leaders ready to put the country before their political party now more than ever. That’s why No Labels is so thrilled to announce that entrepreneur, thought leader, change agent, and philanthropist John Hope Bryant will be joining No Labels as national Vice Chair. As the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Operation HOPE, Inc., he leads the country's largest financial literacy non-profit and worked with presidents on both sides of the aisle to help lift up more Americans. He’ll bring the exact kind of leadership we need to continue bringing the country together, and I couldn’t be more excited to have him on board. On Thursday, March 30th, 5:30 PM ET, we’ll be celebrating John Hope Bryant and the ongoing growth of No Labels with a special Zoom event that I’d love to have you join. If you’d like to RSVP, please click here. And if you’d like to continue to support our movement, please consider donating here to No Labels 2024. Thanks so much for your support. I hope to see you soon! Margaret White Co-executive Director |
