Folks – I want to be upfront: The GOP will do everything it can to take this seat.

Now, I always knew Republicans would fight hard for my seat. But because this is the only Democratic district in Alabama, the GOP is going all out to turn this seat red.

There couldn’t be more at stake, team. If we don’t win this race, Alabama Democrats will have no representation in Washington.

Even worse, we should fully expect the GOP to run one of their most far-right candidates against me. The Black Belt deserves better than a radical Republican who’ll prioritize Donald Trump’s agenda over the vital needs of the district.

But as sad as the GOP’s platform is, keeping AL-07 will be a challenge, and I’m not taking anything for granted. That’s why I’m giving this race everything I’ve got.
