Last night, Arizona Republicans in the Senate passed two bills.

You might be wondering, did the legislation revolve around addressing our state’s water crisis? Maybe they’re hoping to invest more in our public schools and infrastructure? Or possibly, are they doing something to help everyday working families in Arizona?

Unfortunately, no. Instead, the extreme Arizona GOP passed two bills targeting drag shows and vilifying the LBGTQ+ community.

These far-right Republican lawmakers would rather turn non-issues into culture wars designed to divide our community than address the issues affecting our daily lives.
