The week was full of great time spent out in the community, including seeing so many of you at our Hamilton District Office open house. Thank you to everyone who joined, we’re excited to continue our service across the community with our Willingboro, Hamilton, and Washington, D.C. offices, as well our soon-to-open office in Freehold!

This week marked the two-year anniversary of the tragic spa shootings near Atlanta, Georgia that stole eight lives. We share our love with the Atlanta community and stand firmly against AAPI hate across our nation. We are stronger together and will continue to work toward a greater good for all.

In Honor of Women’s History Month, Congressman Kim Re-Introduces Alice Paul Voter Protection Act

This week, Congressman Kim and Congressman Norcross re-introduced the Alice Paul Voter Protection Act, which will protect a citizen's access to vote by prohibiting the interference of voter registration efforts. A former member of our South Jersey community, Alice Paul’s legacy as an activist and suffragette is an inspiration to our continued work to defend the right to vote.

This legislation stands up for all Americans’ right to have unfettered access to the ballot box and would be an important step to make our democracy work better for the people.

ICYMI Late Last Week: Congressman Kim Introduces Legislation to Provide Credit Monitoring for All Servicemembers

Quick update from last week, Congressman Kim was proud to introduce bipartisan legislation to ensure every servicemember has access to credit monitoring services. Continuing his work on behalf of our National Guard and Reserve servicemembers, the Servicemember Credit Monitoring Enhancement Act would make sure members of the Guard and Reserve have access to the same financial resources and information that active duty military use.

Congressman Kim enjoyed welcoming so many of you to his new District Office in Hamilton on Tuesday! We are so excited to continue our work across the district with the help of our new office and were glad to have the chance to introduce our team and work to some of our newest neighbors in New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District.

Congressman Kim Visits Local Schools, Celebrating Civics and the Power of Reading!

This week, Congressman Kim got the chance to speak with some of our local students. On Tuesday, he visited an AP Government class at Burlington City High School to take the chance to nerd-out about the legislative process and all things Congress. Later in the week, he helped celebrate Read Across America with a terrific group of students at W.R. James Elementary School. It’s always a good day to crack open a good book!

Get to Know Congressman Kim with Some Help from Zachary!

Zachary, first-grader and pro-interviewer, wrote into the office wanting to get to know Congressman Kim better for a school project. After Congressman Kim spoke through a few questions with him, we thought everyone could get to know the Congressman a little better through Zachary’s great questions.

Congressman Kim Hosts Webinar For Local Educators

Congressman Kim hosted a webinar to introduce federal grant and funding opportunities for local schools and the ways our office can support them. It was great to see so many on the call, but if you missed us you can check out the recording here!

Highlights from the Week!

Our office has the privilege of meeting with so many great groups and getting-to-know our communities needs, passions, and goals from those working closely with neighbors in many different fields. This week, Congressman Kim met with Mobile Meals of Hamilton about shared efforts to break down food insecurity and learned more about their 50 years of serving our Hamilton community! He also toured Project Freedom, barrier-free affordable housing designed for people with disabilities and their families!
