Fellow Oklahoman,

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I hope you’re having a great week – it’s been a busy one, so let’s get right to it.

This week, we held two very important hearings in the Senate Armed Services Committee. In the first, I pushed Joe Biden’s Department of Defense nominees to advocate on behalf of the over 8,000 service members who were wrongfully dismissed due to their COVID-19 vaccine status.

In the second hearing, I called out the lack of accountability within the Biden administration following the failed Afghanistan withdrawal. Both our adversaries and allies are closely watching this administration’s weakness, and that’s why I am continuing to fight to hold them accountable.

I got the chance to catch up with some friends from Oklahoma State University and Langston University to discuss land-grant universities’ positive impact on agriculture. Oklahoma is leading the way in producing the next generation of farmers and ranchers, thanks in part to our exceptional higher education institutions. I’d like to thank Dr. Claud Evans and Dr. Thomas Coon for coming in and speaking with me about these important issues.

Joe Biden likes to say, “show me your budget, and I’ll tell you what you value.” When looking at his latest budget request, it’s clear this president values higher taxes, massive spending, and more government. Every day, Oklahoma families make tough choices on how to run their households and manage their finances. Unfortunately, the Biden administration refuses to take responsibility and do the same.

For more information about what’s actually in Biden’s budget, read my column HERE, and be sure to watch the video below.

I encourage all Oklahomans to join this important conversation by dialing (855) 614-0277 a few minutes before 6:30pm CT on Tuesday to get connected.
