they were tracked down and arrested by the Iranian government.



Theirs is the latest act of bravery and defiance by women and girls in Iran
since nation-wide protests began last September.



Thousands are risking their lives daily to demand freedom in the face of an
oppressive regime, which has systematically discriminated against women and
girls for decades.
