We are writing to you today with a BIG SMILE on our face as we announce our very first endorsement 2023:
Meet Marcus Bedinger — a community advocate, a progressive Democrat, and now candidate for Dayton City Commission!

Marcus is a vibrant community leader who has lived and professional experience that make him the best and most viable candidate for the change Dayton needs. Marcus has experience working in government office and he is invested in the people of Dayton, where he raises his two sons.
Like many Daytonians, Marcus comes from a low-income background and has been disappointed by the priorities and inaction of so many elected officials who refuse to push for equitable city funding, policing reform, and affordable housing.

It is essential that Marcus is elected in November so that he can join Shenise Turner-Sloss on the City Commission (one of our B/E alumni candidates!) and fight for progressive policies that working Daytonians deserve.
When elected, Marcus will be the first Black and openly LGBTQ+ person elected in the city of Dayton and he will be a critical deciding vote on progressive policies.
