All out tomorrow, March 18!
Saturday, March 18 at
1pm Washington,
D.C. The White House
Good news, we’re expecting
beautiful weather tomorrow for the March 18 rally! It will be sunny
and in the mid-50’s, so dress warmly.
Tomorrow thousands of people from
around the country will converge in Washington, D.C. for a major
national demonstration coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the
U.S. invasion of Iraq. This rally and march will demand an end to ALL
U.S. wars and sanctions and launch the beginning of a new anti-war
movement!
We encourage people to plan ahead
and arrive early! The demonstration will
begin promptly at 1pm in Lafayette Square in front of
the White House.
*IMPORTANT TRAFFIC INFORMATION*
For those arriving from out of
town, there will be a marathon and a 5k run scheduled in downtown D.C.
the morning of March 18, resulting in some road closures and parking
restrictions, so please take that into consideration when planning
your trip. We don't expect this to be a major problem, but plan ahead
to leave for the demonstration a little earlier to give yourself some
extra time. For more traffic information and parking garages in the
area, visit
our website.
The time to act is now! See you in Washington, D.C.!
