Yesterday, Republicans in the House passed a 6-week abortion ban out of committee, despite passionate testimony about the serious harm this will cause Floridians who need reproductive health care.
The Senate version of the bill, SB300 [[link removed]] will be heard in the Senate Health Policy Committee on Monday at 3:30pm and we need to send a strong message to the committee that we will not tolerate this inhumane attack on our reproductive freedom.

If you’re not able to be at the state capitol, you can still make your voice heard. Call and ask the chair and committee members to vote NO on SB300. Below is a sample script and the contact information for every member of the committee.
SCRIPT for Chair and Committee: Script: “Hi, my name is __________ and I’m a (self-described parent/activist/student/community member) who is concerned about the safety of my family and myself. A six week abortion ban is dangerous and extreme. Politicians shouldn’t be making decisions about people’s health care, that's up to individuals and the healthcare provider, with the support system they choose. Vote no on the 6 week abortion ban. The 15 week ban is already dangerous and puts us all in harm’s way. I am asking you to please VOTE NO on SB 300 when it comes to your committee on Monday.”
