# [#]John —The dark money-fueled, conservative American Action Network is spending millions of dollars on deceptive attack ads against the Biden Administration and a handful of House Members, including me.

The lie-ridden ads accuse the Administration of “raiding” Medicare and cutting benefits to seniors, saying I’ve remained silent. These right wing GOP and PhRMA attack dogs are barking up the wrong tree.

Democrats are NOT cutting Medicare. We are strengthening it by saving $300 billion by empowering Medicare - for the first time in history - to negotiate lower prices on life saving prescription drugs. And, thanks to our efforts, Medicare recipients’ out-of-pocket prescription drug costs are capped at $2,000 a year … not a penny more. And insulin will be capped at $35/month.
