John, we really appreciate your activism and never wish to
waste your time.

There is a twofold purpose for the messages we send and both boil down
to the singular fact that we want our government to work for the people
and reflect the best in us.

 

And so with every email we hope to help you learn of the best strategies
being carried out across rural America for two purposes:

* So you can either pattern this success by getting involved in your
community with the support of ROCC.
* Or contribute to those on the ground carrying out the work you see
detailed with each message.

 

Our responsibility with the latter is to clearly specify what you are
supporting and why.

 

That's why every message is very specific and detailed on the nuts and
bolts of real grassroots mobilization. The projects we detail are
data-driven, proven techniques. The type of organizing that wins
elections, inspires civic engagement, and enacts real, long-term change.

Our job is to ensure there is no ambiguity about what you are
supporting.
