Folks, I want to tell you a little bit about why fighting for American families in the U.S. Senate is so important to me. My work is made possible by this grassroots team so, if you're able, I hope you split a contribution of any amount between myself and Michael Bennet to help me keep going.

Every day, I'm reminded of the fact that I stand on the shoulders of those before me. I am the daughter of a newspaperman and a teacher and the granddaughter of an iron ore miner who saved his money in a coffee can in the basement to send my dad to college. No one expected me to run for elected office -- and not many people expected me to win either.

But thanks to supporters like you, our grassroots movement beat the odds, and I became the first woman elected to the U.S. Senate from Minnesota. That’s the American dream in action.

Every day since then I’ve been fighting for progress. And I want you to know:

I will never stop fighting to build a nation that works for working families.

But I can’t do it alone, friend. That's why I'm so thankful to have grassroots supporters like you by my side. If you can, I’m asking you to split a quick donation between myself and Michael Bennet today to help me continue this fight.

Thank you so much -- this team has never let me down.
