Toxic smog hospitalizes 200,000 in Bangkok, raising global concern

Over 200,000 residents in Bangkok have been hospitalized due to a toxic, noxious yellow-grey smog that has blanketed the city in the past week. The fumes contain a dangerous level of fine particulate matter, known as PM2.5 particles, which can enter a human's bloodstream after inhalation.
