This Week: At A Glance




Monday kicked off a district work week for the House. Rep. Jen Kiggans (VA-02)
started the week meeting with local officials.

On Tuesday, new monthly inflation numbers were released showing that Biden
price hikes continue to hit American families. GOP women took to Twitter to
explain the impact high inflation has on their constituents.

Also Tuesday, Rep. Laurel Lee (FL-15) joined her fellow House Homeland
Security committee members on a visit to the border.

Wednesday, the House Homeland Security Committee held a hearing at the
Southern border on the humanitarian and national security crisis.Rep. Monica De
La Cruz(TX-15),whose district includes a large portion of the Southern border,
pointed out that none of the committee Democrats bothered to show up for this
crucial hearing.

Thursday, Winning for Women (WFW) and the SuperPAC WFW Action Fund (WFW AF)
announced a new slate of leadership headed into 2024.



Danielle Barrow is the new Executive Director. Danielle has been with the
organizations since day one and previously served as chief of staff. In
addition, there is an outstanding new board, comprised of talented leaders who
are invested in helping more women succeed. This is a strong lineup that will
bring diverse leadership experience and backgrounds.
