Millennials get a bad rep, folks.

We’re often considered “lazy” or “financially irresponsible.”

I’ve even heard we’re “out-of-touch with our nation’s pressing needs.”

Basically, I’ve heard it all. But I’ve NEVER been one to listen to the critics.

As one of the very few millennials in Congress, I know the stereotypes are far from the truth. I see it on the ground here in Michigan and in Washington.

Millennials and Gen-Z are passionate about politics. They’re organizing, running for office, and having the important conversations that will shape our country’s future for years to come.

And as the country’s current and future leaders, young people truly care.

That’s why it’s so critical we continue laying the groundwork for younger generations to take over. Because our future depends on it.
