Happy St Patrick's Day! Today we celebrate the city and region’s vibrant Irish community and descendants.
Head to Old Market Square to enjoy a range of Irish and Irish-inspired live music and culture on stage including the Louie Walsh Band, Irish dancers and Comhaltas CeoltĂłirĂ Nottingham. There will also be food stalls selling traditional Irish stew and other delicacies.
This free event takes place from 11.30am-4.30pm.

Their string sextet (2 violins, 2 violas, 2 cellos) will be performing works by Romantic composers Brahms and Borodin, and a movement of JS Bach's Baroque masterpiece "Musikalisches Opfer (The Musical Offering)", written for the King Frederick II of Prussia.
